Tracking of Agricultural Products
Agroisolab has been working on methods and databases in the field of agriculture since its foundation in 2002.
Today, we can draw on an extensive portfolio of products where we check the origin as well as the cultivation, farming and feeding conditions, e.g. organic farming or corn / oat fattening.
Our agricultural databases are ongoing growing and might be solving your issues as well.
Take a look on our portfolio to get a better overview.
Furthermore, Agroisolab has even been designated as an official laboratory in the field of organic farming.
There is no doubt that the verification of organic farming is difficult. Our possibilities are explained in our guidelines.
The stable isotope methods are so advanced that not only the country and region can be evaluated, but at best even the field can be broken down.
However, this requires direct references from the field and is therefore often linked to the IsoTrace, system
Our methods have often been blind-tested. For example, the possibilities of verifying regional products down to the farm were successfully verified as part of our watermark project.
Our olive database was also successfully tested for resilience as part of an MRI verification ( German Food Fraud Centre – Food Authent).
In various fields Agroisolab has developed unique selling positions in the agricultural market.
For example, Agroisolab offers the largest private wine database for origin verification and has developed new methods for verifying the origin (fermentation/process) of CO2 in sparkling wine, which are available in the OIV. Finally, in processed products of wine such as wine vinegar, a new quality of verification of the fermentation base has been achieved that goes far beyond the DIN 16460.
With more than thousands of data in meat and more than 8 isotopes used in the application, Agroisolab is the leading laboratory to check the origin of meat like pork and beef.
The latter was already published in 2002 [Boner] and is considered as one of the first pioneering works in that field.
